Counting in 10's

The tamariki are learning to count in 10's. Add numbers to tens frames and even using counting in 10's to solve addition problems.

 Shay is very excited to figure out that 3 tens frames is equal to 30! Very clever.

"Because I know it's 10 and because there are 3 of them, it becomes 30 like 10, 20, 30!"

Hohepa counts 10, 20, 30 then 1, 2, 3, 4, and then it has to be 35
