Dialogue in our Writing

In Room 3 we are learning about including dialogue in our stories. At the moment we are learning about how to write narratives.

First, we talk about what speech is. We talk about the synonyms of speech.

Talking, Speaking, Chatting.

Drawing diagrams and making plans helps us to visualise our learning.

We think about different words for said... they are actually quite a few.

Vaughan is the scribe for his group! Great job Vaughan.

Mark works hard with the support of Ataahua and Jade. Well done Team!

  2. Kia ora,

Thank you for your comment. We are adding dialogue because it makes our writing more interesting and brings our character to life.

  3. Hi Room 3
These pictures show that you are working well with others to create your narratives. I would love to read some of these when you have finished writing them.
