Resetting the Scene

The children in Room 3 had a ten minute opportunity to re-set their scenes they created last Thursday.

Some of them were knocked, some needed some more scenery. The children are excited to create their own little worlds.

Maya and Tahuri pour over the materials and resources. They meticulously select items. They talk to one another about what they like and don't like. They negotiate. Sometimes things work out their way, sometimes they need to let their friends make the decision. 

An archway is added to Breeze and Karanga's original instillation. The children are learning about how to add adjectives to their writing. They spend time talking about exciting words that describe their creations. 

The children came up with some interesting and exciting vocabulary.
